Story Telling about Recycling

Pada postingan sebelumnya, saya sudah membahas mengenai apa itu digital story telling. Nah, pada postingan kali ini saya akan memperlihatkan hasil cerita saya. Pertama, simak ceritanya dulu ya! Judulnya adalah "Be a Pretty Umbrella".

Be a Pretty Umbrella

I am a plastic pack. I used to be a cooking oil pack. I have quite a long story, sometimes it's happy sometimes it's not. In the beginning, I feel happy living on a supermarket shelf. It's quite clean and cool.

It changed into a sad story when someone bought me. After they move the oil into a bottle, they dump me. They just throw me into the trash bin.

One morning, I hear a man saying "Hey, I can use this," and he points at me. He take me out and put me in his ransack. He is still walking around, collecting other plastic packs like me. After spending a few hour in the ransack, the man take us to a place with lady there. She weights us and she gives the man some money. "Oh, the man is selling us." Then, the lady clean us up and dry us. Once when we are all clean and shiny, she assorts us. After cutting us as per the patterns, she sews us together into a big square sheet. She puts us together beautifully and we match each other. She takes a stick with some bars. The stick is an umbrella. Patiently and diligently, she sticks us to each of the bar. Every corner is glued perfectly.

"Ah.. finally it's done," she sights. She tries to close the umbrella and open it again. We flare perfectly. Me and the lady are so excited. I feel very proud. Now I got to be an useful thing. I never thought that I cloud be an unique umbrella.
